Project Title: Implementation of a 2m Farming System in Far North Queensland
Group Name: Singh Harvesting Group
Project Objectives:
- The aim of this project is to implement harvester modifications in a manner which allows manufacturers to incorporate them during production. This would allow transition from 1.5m to 2.0m at low cost.

- Growers will compare the 2.0 metre system with the conventional system
Financial ($) and production (t/ha) data will be collated to compare the productivity and profitability of the two systems
Project Activities:
- Building and fitting a timed basecutter box with legs at 0.775 m spacing on a Cameco 3510 wheeled harvester
- Widening front of machine from 1.0m to 1.3m and making the gatherers hydraulically adjustable for row spacings between 1.5m and 2.0 m
